Responsive circles provide an opportunity for a group of people to 1) meet on a regular basis, 2) give voice to their feelings and concerns, 3) sort through their experiences and learn how to support each other, problem-solve together, and find ways to be contribute positively to their schools, organizations, and communities. Circles are held weekly for a minimum of four weeks.
Community Dialogue Circles
Restorative Response Baltimore conducts dialogue circles and trains in their facilitation as well.
Restorative Response Baltimore trains in the facilitation of and conducts Community Dialogue Circles. Building space for community connections is often the forgotten half of the coin when addressing community conflict. Circles are often only held responsively in reaction to conflict. But, when a place for community building, such as community dialogue circles, exists proactively, community connections and structures are in place to make resolution of conflicts easier. Restorative Response Baltimore has been providing space for, and training in the facilitation of, community dialogue circles in Baltimore schools and neighborhoods for over 15 years. Community dialogue circles are a designated place to build connections with each other and also to address concerns in a positive way. Restorative Response, if requested, makes available a neutral and removed third-party, who is highly trained and experienced, to facilitate community dialogue circles. This is done at a time and frequency in which the community desires. Please contact us to arrange.
Workplace Dialogue Circles
