Become a volunteer facilitator

Interested in becoming a volunteer facilitator?

Restorative Response Baltimore offers training twice a year to those who wish to become community conferencing facilitators, providing conferencing as a means of conflict resolution in communities throughout the state of Maryland.

Co-facilitated by RRB’s Larell Smith-Bacon and Restorative Response Baltimore facilitators, our highly participatory 16-hour facilitator training combines experiential and didactic learning, and emphasizes both the principles underlying the process, as well as techniques of community conferencing facilitation. Concepts and methods concerning race, gender, and class equity are also covered.

Training is limited to individuals who are committed to providing facilitation through either Restorative Response Baltimore or through one of our active Restorative Justice Statewide Network partners in Maryland.
