Become a volunteer facilitator

Interested in becoming a volunteer facilitator?

Restorative Response Baltimore offers training to individuals twice a year who wish to become part of our efforts to provide community conferencing in underserved communities.

Co-facilitated by Acting Executive Director Larell Smith-Bacon and Restorative Response facilitators, our highly participatory 16-hour facilitator training combines experiential and didactic learning, and emphasizes both the principles underlying the process, as well as techniques of community conferencing facilitation. Concepts and methods concerning race and equity are also covered.

Training is limited to individuals who are committed to providing facilitation through either Restorative Response Baltimore or through one of our active statewide network partners in Maryland.

The next facilitator training is Thursday, February 6th and Friday, February 7th, 2020. Registration has closed, but we’ll update on dates for the next training in coming months.
